DirecTrainS is developing the Dynamic Coupling (DC) technology, a novel cutting-edge method to physically couple/decouple trains on-the-run. DC enables train platooning according to capacity preferences and schedule (congestion and passenger peaks) needs of rail providers. Safely combining several trains on a single line, without changing infrastructure, DTS solves bottlenecks and increases network capacity.
