Robbie Keane has claimed league title success in his first season as a manager after guiding Maccabi Tel Aviv to the Israeli Premier League crown.
Keane's side dispatched Hapoel Beer Sheva 3-0 this evening to seal the title, opening up an unbridgable eight-point gap with just two games left.
It is the club's first league triumph since the 2019-20 season, Keane being appointed in the summer after they finished a disappointing third last year.

On taking the role, Keane insisted he did not "want to get into politics" after facing criticism for taking the job, notably by Sinn Féin TD Chris Andrews.
"I'm here as a football man and someone that loves the game. I will certainly just focus on that but thanks for your question," Keane said at the time.
