On the entrance floor of the Drisco Hotel Tel Aviv, lies the George and John Restaurant, named after the hotel’s founders in 1866.
George and John offers a modern and contemporary Israeli menu, using local, seasonal ingredients.
The restaurant presents a rich and varied wine menu that includes approximately 250 high-quality and diverse bottle labels, local and international.
We invite you to enjoy a unique European atmosphere in the historic restaurant space, which has been carefully preserved over the years 2010-2018 by a team of conservators from all over the world. The restaurant has a private event room, where you can host intimate meals, family events and business meetings or workshops, for up to 24 people.
The beautifully designed private room of George and John Restaurant is located on the private and exclusive dining floor in a historic space that served as the wine and liquor storage room of the historic Jerusalem Hotel (now known as the Drisco Hotel). In the center of the room is a wide knight’s table and next to it is an intimate living room for entertaining, located next to the kitchen of George and John’s Restaurant.
The private room – is designed to accommodate eight to 24 guests and includes high-quality sound and light equipment that is ideal for social events, business meetings, team building, family meals, birthdays, workshops, meetings, and more, which are accompanied by the restaurant’s menu, which can be adjusted according to the nature of the event.
