Overview: Airobotics

Airobotics' Optimus system is used mainly for smart city, homeland security commercial and industrial services, providing automated data capture and analysis, performed 24/7 without human intervention, and addressing the needs of the world's most complex environments. The Optimus system is designed to operate as a network of smart drones linked to a central control center and functions as a mission critical infrastructure, providing a variety of automated data solutions. The primary function of the system is for cities an urban environment, where the infrastructure is designated to shorten response times of security and rescue forces to emergency situations, supporting law enforcement and homeland security activities, and streamlining diverse services provided by the municipality for the public’s benefit. The Company is also examining drone parcel delivery and other smart city applications to be provided by the infrastructure. The Optimus system provides an end-to-end solution, comprising an industrial grade UAV, an automated base station, wide-ranging regulatory certification, and an automated data analysis and visualization platform. The company's systems are in the process of type certification, the first of its kind in the US under the US Civil Aviation Authority, the FAA. The Type Certificate will allow Airobotics to perform flights over population, in populated areas, and in complex terrains as never before approved. Airobotics was acquired in January 2023 by Ondas Holdings (NASDAQ: ONDS).

Ran Krauss

CEO & Co-founder

As Israel’s first licensed commercial drone operator, Ran is recognized as a pioneer of the local drone industry, and a notable serial entrepreneur. In 2012, Ran founded Bladeworx, the first licensed commercial drone company in Israel. Ran also directed ParaZero as the company’s Co-Founder and CEO in developing patented technology capable of allowing parachute deployment in fractions of a second. Having cultivated the two highly successful drone companies, Ran is uniquely capable of leading dynamic development efforts and R&D processes.

Meir Kliner

VP R&D & Co-founder

Meir’s expertise represents a synthesis of years of managerial experience combined with a comprehensive command of drone product design. Meir’s background includes developing diverse aerial systems, ranging from recreational use to military applications. Shortly after serving in an advanced technology unit in the Israeli Defense Forces, Meir assumed a key role in designing military-grade drone systems. Meir went on to independently design drones, and has founded several businesses, including Light and Strong, a premier manufacturer of composites for aerial platforms in the drone industry.

Richard Wooldridge

COO

Richard has over two decades of managerial experience in the tech industry, leading teams at corporate companies to drive business and enhance product operations and innovation, from the startup stage to commercialization. Richard served as the COO/GTM Lead at Facebook’s Building 8 and Google’s Advanced Technology and Products Group (ATAP). Both are highly prestigious consumer hardware teams responsible for innovative consumer electronics. His extensive corporate expertise in hardware manufacturing and supply chain management will contribute to Airobotics’ expansion and scale.
