Tal Rabin is Manager and research staff member of the Cryptography Research Group at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center. Her research focuses on cryptography and, more specifically, on multiparty computations, threshold and proactive security. Rabin regularly publishes in leading cryptography and security conferences and journals and has written several book chapters. She has also served as the Program Chair in leading cryptography conferences and is an editor of the Journal of Cryptology. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
