54 years ago today, during the Six Day War in 1967 – 1,900 years since the Romans had destroyed Jerusalem in 70 CE – Israel returned as sovereign to her united capital, Jerusalem; to the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, the City of David, the Mount of Olives, and many more sites rich with historic & spiritual significance. One message we can take from the spirit of Jerusalem Day is not to lose hope. To never give up.
