Overview: Tevel

Tevel is addressing the critical agricultural labor shortage with its revolutionary fruit-picking Flying Autonomous Robots (FAR™). Powered by AI, machine learning, and computer vision algorithms, Tevel's flying robots delicately pick fruit with unparalleled accuracy and maneuverability. They offer easy and reliable operation, 24/7 harvesting capabilities, and cost efficiency to farmers. The robots can detect the ripeness level of each fruit and perform selective picking while identifying diseases on the fruit in real time. Tevel's autonomous harvesting technology is successfully picking a variety of fruits, including apples, peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, and pears, across Italy, Chile, Israel and in the US states of California and Washington.

In addition to harvesting, Tevel’s robots also act as data agents by continuously collecting granular information in real-time on every fruit they pick. This empowers growers with precise knowledge of each bin's contents before delivery to the packing house. Tevel’s user-friendly software reports data to growers including the amount of fruit picked, total fruit weight, size and weight distribution, ripeness level, disease detection, heatmap, geolocation and more. The FAR™ stands alone as the only robot in the world that safely interacts with foliage, continuously flying in and out of trees without causing harm. Tevel's groundbreaking innovation is backed by 11 patents worldwide and has received prestigious awards in agriculture and robotics, including the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award and Top-10 New Products at the World Ag Expo. Tevel has also been recognized by the Wall Street Journal and Forbes for its innovation.

Tevel has over 60 employees with headquarters in Israel and subsidiary branches in Italy and the United States.
