Ruthi Ruthi is a discreet reservation system that seeks to allow women in the violence circle to stay in hotels for a short period of time - to significantly increase the chances of success in leaving the violent relationship. The women will take a professional risk assessment, which will make sure that they are not in an emergency solution. Every woman who arrives at the hotel will receive a consultation from a domestic violence expert, and additional services that will be tailored to her (exploration of rights, legal assistance, etc.). Our mission is to enable women who are caught in violent relationships to have a broad perspective on their situation, and to plan their exit process with the assistance of a social worker. Many women have decided to plan their escape after staying without their partner in a distant place - and this is exactly the goal of the app. Michal Sela Startup Academy: Selected teams from the Hackathon participate in a three-month professional mentorship program in cooperation with Google for Startups. The Michal Sela Forum, in collaboration with Google for Startups, invites entrepreneurs to develop technologies to keep women safe by participating in the Michal Sela Startup Academy. The Academy provides lectures and workshops led by professionals, mentoring and personal accompaniment, a promotional video for each venture, cross-sector collaboration, and more.
