Northland is an industry veteran with a 20+ year track record of scaling space technology and communications companies. His previous executive leadership roles include serving as CEO of Eutelsat Americas, CEO of Satelites Mexicanos S.A. de C.V. (SATMEX) and Chairman, President and CEO of AT&T Latin America. Before his work with Eutelsat and SATMEX, Northland founded telecommunications corporation FirstCom. He orchestrated the company’s $1.25B merger with Netstream Brazil and Keytech Argentina to create AT&T Latin America (AT&T LA), which he then led as President, Chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, AT&T LA was the first provider to offer seamless broadband to a global Fortune 1000 client base across the Americas region.

Raz's academic background is in aerospace and propulsion technologies, and, after working on multiple satellite programs in the early 2000s, he founded Israel Aerospace Industries' nanosatellite division in 2006. Together with his co-founder and VP Engineering, Daniel, Raz served as system engineers and mechanical designers on multiple satellites operating successfully in-orbit today. Raz has a MsC in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion and a PhD in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Daniel has designed and deployed a wide array of mechanical components and structures on various communications satellites since 2006. During his time with Israel Aerospace Industries, Daniel served in senior engineering roles and served as deputy manager of the IAI's work building the VENUS satellite, contracted by the French Space Agency. Along with co-founder and CEO Dr. Raz Tamir, Daniel was among the pioneers of the cubesatellite and nanosatellite communities in Israel. He has been a lead designer for five nanosatellites, including Israel's first nanosatellite, the Inklajn-1.

Daniel brings with him 20 years of experience in managing & growing businesses in the defense / aerospace / satellite sectors. Before joining NSLComm, Daniel was Head of SATCOM group at Elbit Systems Ltd, (NASDAQ: ESLT), one of Israel's largest global defense corporations. Prior to that Daniel was Vice President of the defense group at Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: GILT). Daniel was responsible for all sales & marketing activities, focusing especially at the field of SoTM systems for various platforms and projects. Daniel holds an Executive MBA from Bar Ilan University and a BA in Business Management, Communications & Information Technologies (IT) from the Inter Disciplinary Centre (IDC), Hertzeliya.

Prior to joining NSLComm, Shmuel was Director of Portfolio Management at OurCrowd, Israel’s most active VC, with over $1.5B of committed capital. As part of his function, Shmuel was responsible for a wide range of portfolio activity, including follow-on investment and M&A. Shmuel has broad board experience, and in his capacity as a trusted advisor, has guided numerous start-ups on capital raisings and capital efficiency. With previous experience in financial controlling positions, Shmuel has served as interim CFO of portfolio companies during their transition stages. Prior to joining the VC world, Shmuel spent four years with BDO, where he gained his CPA (Australia) credentials. Shmuel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He lives in Jerusalem, Israel, with his wife and four children.
