Being in the Program provided the confidence boost and the flexibility that I needed to start on my path as a researcher, and I am incredibly grateful for that.

The world is full of contradictions. For you see, you can do anything, but you can’t do everything; but hey, you can at least try.

As a scientist you always can either do something brave or go with the stream. If you decide to do great things the road might be rocky – but at the end – you might change the world.

Don’t be a afraid to step outside your comfort zone – take courses that you might fail, try doing research that might not go anywhere.
Tackling new challenges is the best way to learn, and the Program gives you the tools and support you need to do it.

For me, the Technion’s Excellence Program was all about acceleration. It was about meeting the strongest people in their respective fields, and interacting with leaders from academia and industry. The Program will be your ticket in – a way to become part of a bigger team that innovates where it matters.

Contrary to expectation, undergraduate-time is the best for taking advanced courses. So do not postpone anything you really want to know. Also, use the program benefits (even if you need to twist it a bit). It’s fun.
Most importantly, make sure to take part in academic research, because it’ll give to a taste of how it is to continue in the academia.

Utilize the freedom that the Program allows. It is worthwhile examining your academic direction at an early stage of your studies. Research is highly recommended.
