Dr. Dani Cherkassky is a co-founder and the CEO of Kardome. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in developing multi-disciplinary systems including acoustics, sensor networks, and signal processing, Dani has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the speech recognition sector. Prior to founding Kardome, he served as CTO and VP of R&D at Silentium where he was responsible for the company’s technology strategy and led the development of the Quiet Bubble Technology aimed at reducing road noise in car cabins. Dani holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Bar-Ilan University, specializing in speech processing using ad-hoc microphone networks. His leadership and technical expertise have been crucial in guiding Kardome toward its goal of enhancing voice interaction technology.

Dr. Alon Slapak, Kardome’s co-founder and VP of Research and Development, brings over 20 years of experience in managing complex R&D projects across multiple disciplines including software, hardware, and algorithm development. Prior to Kardome, Alon co-founded RodRadar where he served as VP of R&D, leading efforts in developing civil radar systems for autonomous machines. His extensive background in radar signal processing and machine learning algorithms has been pivotal to Kardome’s innovative approach to voice recognition. Alon holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University, and his deep technical expertise ensures that Kardome’s technology stays at the forefront of the market.

Daniel Shefer serves as Kardome’s VP of Business Development, leveraging his extensive experience in scaling technology companies. Previously, Daniel held senior business development roles at Hippo Insurance, SoFi, and SanDisk, where he played key roles in driving revenue growth and forming strategic partnerships. His expertise in market expansion and building strong business relationships is integral to Kardome’s growth strategy, particularly in its efforts to penetrate new markets and secure partnerships with major industry players.

Dr. Seongcheol Jang heads Kardome’s operations in Korea where he is responsible for driving business development and partnerships in the Asian market. With a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Seongcheol has a robust background in digital signal processing (DSP) and has held senior roles at DSP Concepts and Cadence Design Systems. His experience in the field of audio and voice technology, combined with his knowledge of the Korean market, has been critical in establishing Kardome’s strategic partnerships with companies like Hyundai and KT.
