Beit Issie Shapiro's Sindian Center was established in 2001 to meet the needs of families of children with special needs in Israel's Arab sector. Today the Center is a model center, serving families from a wide area and employing Arab professionals. It has expanded its services to include therapeutic daycare for children up to age 6 and family support services. The Center however is in dire need of a new building in order to accommodate the demand for services, and more effectively impact children and adults with disabilities in the are - and their families.
